Saturday, November 14, 2009 from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM (MT)
Dear 2010 U.S. Census Partner,
The Asian Pacific Islander Complete Count Committee (APICCC) is pleased to invite you to the Asian Pacific Islander 2010 U.S. Census Summit on Saturday, November 14th at the Intercontinental Montelucia Resort & Spa in Scottsdale! As you may be aware, it is crucial that all communities actively participate in the 2010 U.S. Census to ensure a complete count of residents in Maricopa County.
Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders have been disproportionately undercounted in past Census efforts. Because you are a leader in your community, Ms. Cathy L. Lacy – the U.S. Census Bureau’s Regional Director from Denver, Colorado – will come to formally welcome you in person at this summit conference. Additionally, you will also have the opportunity to greet Mr. Bill Imada – Chairman and CEO of IW Group, Inc. from San Francisco, California – as the keynote speaker and other distinguished guests from our own community here in Arizona. Together, we can lend a hand in strategizing and improving participation of our Asian and Pacific Islander communities for the upcoming 2010 U.S. Census.
Provided below are the details regarding this summit conference:
Date: Saturday, November 14, 2009
Time: 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m.
Venue: Intercontinental Montelucia Resort & Spa
4949 E. Lincoln Dr.
Scottsdale, AZ 85253
A complimentary continental breakfast and lunch will be provided. Since seating is limited, please RSVP by November 8th (Sunday) to help ensure accurate accommodations. You may register for this important event here on-line or by calling/emailing Elise Phuong Ho at (520) 271-6840 or elisephuong@gmail.com. Please contact Elise Phuong Ho for any further information.
